gcompris-sound-mr software package provides Indian Marathi sound files for GCompris, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gcompris-sound-mr
gcompris-sound-mr is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gcompris-sound-mr package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gcompris-sound-mr *
You will get with gcompris-sound-mr package name, version, architecture and description in a table
